INVISIBLE TOUR 2011 DIARY

Hello out there
We've kicked off INVISIBLE TOUR 2011 yesterday in CHUR @ Werkstatt. Thanks Romano & Reto! We've had a glorious time. Today we woke up on the sunniest day this year, at least it seems so, and now we're moving towards Künten, where we'll play in ATELIER tonight.

We are getting ready to pack our stuff and drive in eastern direction towards Chur where we'll be playing at Werkstatt this Thursday 10th of March, beginning at nine o'clock SHARP. hello people

we're currently moving our practice room. and because our new practice room is just an empty room, there's plenty for us to do to make it an useful and cheerful practice room. we need to thicken the walls, damp them, make a nice floor, and all that stuff. to illustrate our process, here's some pics for you.

MEGA PARTY THIS FRIDAY // YAKARI, FAI BABA, AIE CA GICLE

Don't miss the MEGA PARTY this Friday in Basel at Restaurant Hirscheneck, when we will be playing a concert with the big and mighty FAI BABA and the glorious (and hilarious) AIE CA GICLE. We will be opening that night of mayhem so don't check in too late.

CATASTROPHE HAS HAPPENED

YAKARI HEADQUARTERS HAVE BEEN FLOODED! From yesterday night until today evening there has been massive water intrusion into YAKARI headquarters. Estimately (? ( a lot!)) liters have found their way into lots of our equipment through walls, so is the presumption.

THIS IS NO JOKE.

Apparently nothing has been REALLY damaged, so that we could not use it anymore, but the flood has certainly left traces in one of the walls, which will have to be trashed and built from scratch, and in the carpets, which we will have to trash unless we'd like the smell of putrid carpets, and we think we don't like it, they stink.

...AND in our relationship to MR. ROTH, which is the caretaker for the building and stood his man by helping us finding the source of water and just consoled us friendly cause we we're desperate and I must say that some of us cried.

Now, somehow I just was at our rehearsal room the day before and maybe instinctively made some iPhone shots of our place... not knowing how things could change within one day when fucking water comes into play and pours in to make trouble. So here's some comarison shots of this misery. Go check it out.

cause we'll need to save equipment trash the carpets which are now fucked



No easy job to clear a flooded practice room!



Luckily enough there was MR:ROTH wo lend us some helping hand and investigated the case more profoundly


CAUSE, and now listen




MR|ROTH'S and our guess is we PROBABLY have some weed growing neighbors beneath and they maybe have some water issue with their rewatering system or whatever! MAYBE they were right then smoking pot when we've had to carry all our stuff out! Imagine!

Don't get us wrong, we're no weed haters.

BUT here's the thing that really matters.

We've been on the way finishing our next record and we had only some last things left until completion. Besides we need to practice for our upcoming gigs, most importantly in Basel in 2 weeks or so. Now, WTF. So:

We're looking for a new practice room. This has been on our mind for some time now. So if ANYONE knows some place or buddy or anything, who could help us find something new, we'd greatly appreciate... YAKARI HEADQUARTERS HAVE TO MOVE!
